We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We process your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the Swiss data protection laws (nDSG), the European Union (GDPR), and this Privacy Policy.

3. Collection and Processing of Personal Data

You can generally visit our website without providing any personal information. Personal data such as name, address, or email address is only collected if you voluntarily provide it to us, for example, through a contact request.

The processing of your personal data is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) (consent), (b) (contract fulfillment), (c) (legal obligation), and (f) (legitimate interest) GDPR.

5. Hosting and Infrastructure

Our website is delivered statically through Cloudflare Pages. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection data, in particular the IP address, time, requested file and browser information, may be processed to deliver and secure the website.

Our software solutions and databases are operated via Microsoft Azure in Europe. Accounting is handled via Bexio.

Cloud services: We use Google Workspace and ClickUp for managing and storing personal data.

6. Cookies and Google Analytics

The website stores your privacy selection locally in your browser. This storage is necessary so that your choice can be respected on subsequent page views.

Google Analytics 4 is technically prepared and is used only when a measurement ID is configured and you have consented to the Analytics category. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data processed may include pages viewed, visit source, approximate location and device information, and random identifiers.

The legal basis is your consent. Before you consent, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded and no analytics data is transferred to Google. You can change or withdraw your selection at any time through Cookie settings in the footer.

7. Embedded Content and External Services

YouTube videos are embedded using privacy-enhanced mode. They are loaded only after you consent to the External media category in the cookie settings. Enabling this category establishes a connection to YouTube or Google. The operator is YouTube LLC, USA.

Requests submitted through the contact and trial forms are transmitted to us through Formspree, Inc., USA. The information you enter, such as your name, company, email address, phone number and message, as well as technically necessary metadata, is processed. This processing is used exclusively to deliver, handle and secure your request. For more information, visit formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy and formspree.io/security.

Links for registering interest in codeto one lead to Google Forms. Data is processed only when you open the external link and submit information there.

8. Newsletter

We currently do not offer a newsletter service. If we use it in the future (e.g., via Klaviyo), we will obtain your explicit consent and inform you about data processing in the context of newsletter dispatch.

9. Disclosure of Data to Third Parties

Personal data is disclosed to third parties only when this is necessary to provide the website, handle your request, perform a contract or comply with a legal obligation. Processors are contractually bound and selected in accordance with the applicable data protection requirements.

10. Data Transfers to Third Countries

Where personal data is processed outside Switzerland, the EU or the EEA, we ensure an appropriate level of protection through an adequacy decision, recognized standard contractual clauses or other safeguards provided by law.

12. EU Representative

Currently, no EU representative has been appointed, as our activities are not primarily focused on the EU. If our activities change, we will appoint an EU representative pursuant to Art. 27 GDPR.

13. Updates to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time. The current version is always available on our website. In case of material changes, we will inform users by email or upon their next visit to the website.
